The spectacular beauty that can be found in the southwestern deserts is more fleeting than the autumn colors of New England and unpredictable as a Texas twister. Over the past few years I've been lucky (and persistent) enough to be at the right place and time to capture some of those moments. Then there are the places where the beauty is a more permanent feature. Hawaii and Yosemite are a bit less demanding about when you try to catch them at their best. Hope you enjoy the pictures!
